Day 4 in Oregon

We got up early and headed to the tidepools to see what we could see. It's the funnest treasure hunt and probably the best thing to do in Oregon. While the tide was low Corbin and the older girls crossed the shallow water to go explore some rocks. By the time they were done, the tide started coming in and they got quite wet trying to make their way back.

When we initially started planning Oregon with our friends, the time that we planned to go would be over Tanner's birthday (he was turning 7) and knowing that he loves sea life I told him that we could go to a spot where Whales are often seen. From that point on he told people that I was giving him the best gift ever. I'll take it :)  And luckily the whales did not dissapoint. It's always so amazing to see sea life and to wonder what is going on beneath the surface of the ocean.

When we all met up in the evening. We headed to the beach to play and ended up having a bon fire. In my opinion it was one of the best moments of the trip. We told stories and laughed. The sun was setting on the day and everything just felt so right in the world. ♥♥
