Thanksmas 2018

The best kickoff to the holiday season! Mom and Dad created something special with this holiday. ♥♥♥ The kids favorite (and it's the same every year): the ham loaf! the special cranberry drink! chocolate kisses scattered down the table! Santa Clause! the stockings from grandma! and most of all, being with their cousins!! I love this day and this time with my family. And mom really outdid herself this year, she's amazing and we're all so lucky!

Thanksmas is the best!!!

thanksmas 2016

Whenever someone asks our boys what their favorite tradition is, hands down it's always Thanksmas! It's the best Saturday of the year. Mom always does an amazing job...the food, the decoration, the stockings! Amazing!

Out of twenty six grand kids, Rudger was the very last one called up to see Santa. He was so patient watching everyone else go up and bounced right up when they called his name and wouldn't stop smiling.
Grandma spoiled the kids big time!

Did I mention, it is amazing! :)

long thanksgiving weekend

These two were oh so excited for the Thanksgiving break. They even stayed in their jammies all day in anticipation for the lazy, cozy, super long weekend ahead. We had five days of playing, staying up late, sleeping in, and not too much of a schedule!

Tuesday afternoon Levi came home with this note for his mom and dad. I was so happy and then I read the fine print half way down. I laughed so hard and couldn't wait to show Justin. (in case you can't read it...I like dad better) :)
