gratitude - week 4

"If you want to find happiness, find gratitude"

1. Snow!!! I'm a little obsessed about checking our snow pack and hoping for lots and lots of snow. Water is such a precious resource.

2 and 3. Watching Adeline play in the snow, from the moment she woke up to when we came outside was about 11 minutes. She couldn't wait to get out there!

4. Warm clothes.
5. Play time!

6. Sun shine and a car (even if it's that dirty)
7. Kisses and Sleep.

8. Our town (This was the lighting ceremony and Adeline was TERRIFIED of the Grinch)
9. Our Piano. I love listening to the kids play ♥

10. Spending the day with Levi and Adeline at the Festival of Trees for a field trip.
11. The gratitude Corbin showed me for taking him to Wendy's. (it's all thanks to Grandma Packer!)

12. Making cookies with Adeline and our next door neighbor, Sue. (I didn't get a picture of her) Sue came over and taught us how to make her cookies!
13. They were delicious!!

Thanksmas 2018

The best kickoff to the holiday season! Mom and Dad created something special with this holiday. ♥♥♥ The kids favorite (and it's the same every year): the ham loaf! the special cranberry drink! chocolate kisses scattered down the table! Santa Clause! the stockings from grandma! and most of all, being with their cousins!! I love this day and this time with my family. And mom really outdid herself this year, she's amazing and we're all so lucky!

Thanksmas is the best!!!

Thanksgiving 2018

We loved hosting Thanksgiving this year and having Justin's parents and his sister and her family over. I've decided I like smaller crowds for holidays! :)

We filled our tummies perfectly and loved spending time together. Levi had an assignment to interview one of his grandparents. He chose Grandma Morris. It was so fun to watch them interact and to hear stories that I have never known.

As everyone left, and we all cuddled on the couch to kick of the Christmas season with Polar Express, it felt like the perfect Thanksgiving. Good food, connecting with family, and feeling so so so thankful for this life.
