The number one activity I wanted to do with the kids this summer was weekly hikes. That was one of my fondest memories from last summer and I wanted to relive it. And luckily I have the greatest friend who helped make this happen. We sat down towards the end of the school year and came up with a list of hikes we wanted to go on.
For our kids, the best kinds of hikes are those that will allow them to explore and adventure to their hearts content. The word hiking is used very loosely. We are adventuring!
Kaysville East Mountain Wilderness Park Trail
Perfect for exploring, 10 minutes away, and some really pretty areas. Unfortunately it was pretty hot on the mountainside and some of us had allergies that were going crazy :(
Silver Lake
Beautiful hike up Big Cottonwood. Take me to the pines, aspens, and water and I'm very happy!
Green Pond
We came here on a whim, as a family, a few days before. We loved it and really wanted to bring our friends back. Beautiful hike!
After the Green Pond hike, we headed over to Pineview reservoir and I just fell in love with this picture. ♥♥♥
