Crazy times, but great times

I know, it's been a while, we have had a crazy couple of weeks. First of all we got some virus on our computer, Justin tried to figure it all out and finally just ended up deleting our whole computer and restarting it - it has been wonderful since! Now I feel connected with the world!! It was amazing how annoyed I was with the computer, I tried to get all our pictures onto CDs before Justin deleted it and it took FOREVER! It was a painful process, but we got through it!

I had a doctor's appointment a couple of weeks ago. My doctor said everything looks great and the baby is growing wonderfully. He said, by the sound of the heartbeat, it sounded like a boy. I've talked to several older people (sorry mom and dad) and they said their doctors would say the same thing and were wrong more than half the time. I wonder why doctor's still think they can tell by that? Maybe the person who voted that we are having a boy will be right! I have my appointment on April 11 - we will be excited to let you all know!

On Thursday, the 20th, Corbin went up to Primary Children's to have some work done on his teeth. It wasn't a huge deal, but his dentist said whenever he does younger children's teeth and need to put them to sleep, he likes to do it in a more professional environment. The only problem was the sound of Primary Children's Hospital and putting Corbin to sleep scared me so much! Corbin was so brave and did a great job. The procedure lasted for an hour and a half, it felt sooo long! When Corbin started waking up they came and got me; when I walked in he started wimpering and calling for me, I just wanted to run over and hold him! He was so out of it and looked so scared. He had an IV hooked up to him and lots of wires all over the place, he hated it and wanted them out. Luckily, they let me hold and comfort him, I was so happy to be there for him. Eventually he accomplished getting the IV pulled most of the way out, so the nurse just unhooked him and said we could go, yeah, we were out of there! The hardest part for me was that Corbin was not himself the rest of the day, I wanted my Corby back. What an emotionally draining day, I am so happy it is over. I am grateful that Corbin and Taylor are, for the most part, really healthy boys, I just don't think I could handle it!

Easter was wonderful for us. Thankyou to Mandi and Jon for having us over on Friday. It was fun to watch the kids find their eggs, dye some eggs, dinner, and watching Enchanted (what a great show, even Justin and Jon were laughing - they loved the prince!) Thankyou to Alayna, Alisa, and Jerry for the great party for the boys; they had a blast, especially with the bunny race! Thankyou to Grandma and Grandpa Morris for the dinner, easter egg hunt, and playing baseball - it was so much fun! We hope all of you had a wonderful Easter and most importantly remembered our Savior and how much he has done for us, that is what gets me through these crazy times.

Things have been going well here, although Corbin and I have been sick this last week. I felt so bad for Corbin because we started getting sick on his birthday and to make things worse he didn't even get a very good chocolate birthday cake. He wanted a BIG chocolate cake and this was, well let's just say a pile of crumbs. I need to make it up to him!
Each day we were sick Corbin would say, "Mom, we both have the same thing, huh". I said, "yes we do" and he would just come and cuttle right up. I think he at least enjoyed being sick together. Taylor was so good while we were sick, he mostly enjoyed getting to have the toys to himself! He is such a sweetheart! Justin is the best; he took such good care and us, cleaned the house, cooked dinner, and managed to not get sick....yet. I hope he doesn't!

Welcome to our Family Life

We are so excited to finally have our own family blog up! Now you can see what life ifs really like at the Morris home!

Justin is working at Fidelity Investments and has learned so much there. It has been very good for us in this stage of our lives, but now he is ready to move on to something new. Justin has been so awesome at working on so many of my requests. He built us an entertainment center, shelves for the closets, desks for our room, shelves in his garage (his favorite), and his most recent was the bunkbed (my favorite)! He did such an amazing job, everytime I go in the boys room I still can't believe that he built it - it turned out great! Now that he has a little more spare time he has enjoyed playing basketball with the men in our ward and of course he still loves playing frisbee! Justin is the best Daddy, the boys love playing with him! Their favorite things to play are horsey ride, hide-n-seek, football, basketball, and just getting all of Daddy's attention! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful man!

I have been loving being home, but mostly all that I have been up to is being sick. But I am now getting over the morning sickness and I am thrilled! Almost everyday, I would wake up feeling sick and Corbin would say, "Mom are you sick again." I felt so bad and I just wanted to not be sick so I could play with them! Now the boys can have their mom back. I love being a mom and everyday is a new adventure and a LOT of laughs! In my "spare" time I have gotten to go play some women's basketball, which has been so much fun (our team is undeafeted)! I also have been trying to catch up on getting my life history in order and working on the boys as well! I love to decorate and can't wait to start on the baby's room!

Corbin is the funnest boy. He will be 4 tomorrow! He is getting so smart everyday. Justin and I are amazed at his memory, he will talk about things that happened over a year ago (and in pretty good detail). He obviously got that from Justin! His favorite things to do are play anything where he can save me, like superman or spiderman; he loves to help me cook; and he really loves letters and writing. He can write his name really well and is always asking me how to spell different words. His latest accomplishment is memorizing the first 3 Articles of Faith, he picked them up really fast. We are now working on the 4th one, but it is kind of tricky, but I'm sure he will have it down in no time! We love our Corbin!

Taylor is such a sweet boy. He just turned 2 in December. He is talking so much. I can't believe a few months ago I was worried about him not talking. Now he is a talking all the time! Our favorite phrase of his is when he is showing us things and says, "Another one horse" or "Another one ball"! I don't know why but it makes us laugh do hard! He loves to play with Corbin - he can get mad at him fast, but turn around and laugh and run with him! Taylor also has been working on the Articles of Faith, he says - Believe, a God, Eternal Father, his son Jesus Christ, and Holy Ghost. We love it and are totally amazed! We love our Taylor!
