Corbin's Soccer Day

Last Saturday a friend in the ward asked if Corbin would like to play soccer with their team. They didn't have enough of the players that day and wanted his help. It was so much fun to go and watch little kids chasing the ball around.

This was Corbin's first time to play on any team. He was afraid at first to play, but the coach said that Justin could go out on the field to make Corbin feel more comfortable. After that Corbin got right in and played. He loved running around and trying to get to the ball (although it is hard to actually hit the ball because so many kids are swarmed around it).

Justin and I were so proud of him, he never gave up, he is such a determined little boy!

Corbin's Articles of Faith

Here is Corbin saying the 4th and 5th (I hope you can hear the 4th - and just remember to pause my music before listening to the videos!)

Corbin has done a great job with learning the first five. He loves to say, "Mom I now know five of them - and some day I will know 1,2,3.." and he continues on to as high as he can count. I guess I need to tell him that there are only 13. I love to see the look on Justin's face when Corbin memorizes one, Justin has been the one to really teach and motivate him. All three of them are great examples to me. I just hope that I can re-memorize all of them before Corbin does!

Taylor's Articles of Faith

We have been so impressed with Taylor saying the Articles of Faith. We thought now that Corbin was 4 he could probably learn to say them, little did we know that just working with Corbin, Taylor would pick them right up. Taylor is usually not a big talker, so when people here him say these they are totally taken by surprise! We love our Tay!

Three Little Boys

First of all, thank you to all of you who participated in our little poll - it was fun to see what everyone was thinking!
I had my ultrasound on Friday and I am going to be even more out numbered in my family - and I couldn't be any happier! The nurse who was doing the ultrasound saw within 30 seconds that we are having another boy - there is no doubt! Before the ultrasound I asked Corbin one last time what he thought we were going to have, he told me he wanted to have a "Little Man".

The last few weeks I have had a little feeling that it was going to be another little boy, but I am not one to ever really know. While I was driving to the ultrasound I was thinking that if it is another boy I didn't know if I would be as excited as I was with having Corbin and Taylor. (I know that is a terrible thing to think, because of course any baby that healthy is what I really want) So when I was sitting there looking at our little one on the screen the nurse said, "oh, it's definantly a boy," I looked at that baby and I got so excited; I couldn't believe that I was; but the thought of having another boy as sweet as Corbin and Taylor made me so happy. I love them so much and to have another will be such a wonderful blessing!

Who do you think he looks like?

Justin is so excited! He grew up as the only boy in his family (which he did love), but the thought of having a whole house full of boys makes him really happy. He has all kinds of dreams of going mountain biking, camping, hiking, playing sports, and playing around. He is the best dad, our boys love him so much and they want to be just like him when they grow up!

Justin and I would love to have a little girl some day, but for now we are just so happy to have our boys!!!

Happy 40th Anniversary Mom and Dad

Friday, April 4th was my Mom and Dad's 40th Anniversary. We planned our late Easter Egg Party with my family and surprised my parents with an anniversary party on Saturday. Mandi made an awesome video for my parents that had pictures of when my parents were younger, when they got married, us kids when we were younger, and then all of our families now. Mandi also put some of my parents favorite songs on the video. It was so great and I think my parents loved it! It was fun to look at the pictures with all of our family there. It is amazing how big the family is getting and to think it all started 40 years ago when mom and dad got married, thanks mom and dad - 6 children, 6 spouses, and 16 (almost 17) grandkids later!!!

What does deodorant do?

Corbin has figured it out. I caught Corbin getting Justin's deodorant and I asked him what he was doing. He told me that he wanted some hair under his arms so he needed some!!
